When Valvoline offers to provide you with a rental car, we will authorize:
All authorized charges will be covered by Valvoline. Any additional charges (examples: insurance, tolls, vehicle damage, unauthorized upgrades or extensions) are your responsibility. The rental car provider can field questions you have about what is covered by Valvoline versus what is at your expense.

The rental car provider should contact you within two business hours of your rental being authorized by Valvoline. Vehicles are typically available within four business hours of authorization, but it can take up to eight. If you need a vehicle urgently, please let the rental provider associate know when they contact you so they can work with you (and Valvoline as needed) to get you in a rental as quickly as possible.
Yes. Deposit amounts vary depending on the provider, location, and class of vehicle, typically ranging between $50 and $300. The deposit amount will be held via charge on the card provided until the vehicle is returned and the contract is closed. As a result, we suggest using a credit card vs. a debit/check card if possible.
Credit cards associated with a line of credit e.g. VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover Network®. Debit/check cards associated with a bank account and bearing VISA®, MasterCard®, or Discover® logo. Note that the name on the payment method must match the name on the rental contract and the driver’s license.
Yes. Pick-up services are available:
Work with the rental provider associate to schedule your pick-up time. Note that you’ll be taken to the rental location to complete paperwork and receive your rental.
Your rental car will come with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank to avoid refueling charges. The rental car provider can explain other refueling options, but those will be at your expense.
Yes. Valvoline managers can arrange for rentals to be extended to accommodate repair delays.
If you are in an accident, contact local authorities first to ensure the safety of everyone at the scene. From there, contact the rental car provider’s roadside assistance number. They will file a damage report and set up tow services for the damaged vehicle if it is no longer drivable.
